To enhance how we think of creativity and creatively think. To take part in exercises that expand our
knowledge and understanding of creativity.
As creatives, we are always looking for the next new look,
or the thing that has never been done before.
But also as creatives, we can fear failure and get stuck in the one or
two disciplines we excel at, or are comfortable with. But the essence of being creative means
stepping out of what we normally see, to see what is unseen. We should not limit ourselves to only that
which is comfortable.
The Creative Think Machine was created to improve on
creativity, not a particular skill set.
Though weekly exercises will focus on expanding and practicing technique, the monthly
challenges will cover a wide range of creative activities. The idea is that regardless of your discipline,
the blog will push yourself to experience something new.
